Story : Yarra Central police face a crime following a 20-year-old pattern. Investigations lead them to master criminal 'Chalky' Gunnerson, who is a clever chess player and plans his moves against the police with care and precision. Also involved are his daughter Vivienne and a rather brash young apprentice, Ricky Bevan.
