Story : Bert and Rufus sign up to be volunteer fireman. Rufus makes it in but Bert does not. Rufus becomes involved with his fire safety that he over does it. He checks the diner for violations that will cost a lot of money to fix. Bert comes up with a plan to get him off of the fire station.
