Story : Norwich are the only side left in the competition never to have won the Cup. They have been semi-finalists just twice before, in 1959 and 1989. However, in 1985 they beat today's opponents 1-0 to lift the League Cup. Sunderland hope to emulate their most recent FA Cup triumph when they beat the mighty Leeds United 1-0 in the 1973 final.
