Story : In 1973, Gene Roddenberry and Filmation teamed up to make an animated sequel to Star Trek. What followed was a story of writers strikes, cheap animation, hurt feelings and colorblind directors. And despite all of that, it somehow came together and laid the groundwork for serious all-ages animated programming.
