Story : A journey on the oldest English railway line from the east to the west coast, from Newcastle to Carlisle, parallel to the Hadrinanus Wall. It was built to protect the Roman Empire against invasion. Then further south and Lancaster and then on the beautiful wadden coast of Cumbria and the Lake District.
