Story : This railway line can be described as an international connection between two countries with the character of a slow train. From Kempten in the Allgau with the Ausserfernbahn along Reutte to Garmisch-Partenkirchen in Tirol and then with the Karwendelbahn to Innsbruck. It goes from the foot to the middle of the Alps, with the added bonus of a train ride to the highest peak in Germany, the Zugspitze.
