Story : Bookkeeper Horace Maybee has been skimming money for years from the small finance company where he works. With auditors coming in to examine the books, he's desperate to come up with $25,000 in a hurry. He goes to a bookie, puts $500 on a dog race, and wins. As he's about to get his cash, the police stage a raid and Horace runs off with a huge sack of the criminals' cash.
