Story : The Haskells are throwing a drunken New Year's Eve party in their New York apartment. Next door, Everett Kelsey has had enough of tending to the bitter supposedly invalid wife who treats him like dirt. He's just poisoned the shrew when he gets an unnerving phone call; the female on the line says that she saw what he did to his wife through the window. Kelsey doesn't realizes it's a prank call from one of the Haskell's tipsy party guests.
