Story : Making their Proms debut, the Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano Guiseppe Verdi are joined by Maltese tenor Joseph Calleja to celebrate the bicentenary of Verdi's birth with a feast of his arias. With their Chinese-American conductor Xian Zhang, the orchestra also take us on a lovelorn trek through the Alps in Tchaikovsky's Manfred Symphony, based on a poem by Lord Byron.
